Contemporary Kitchen Design
Clean lines with a touch of warmth reverberate throughout this transitional home. The frosty carina Caesar stone countertops keep things fresh in the kitchen. Accent Cabinets provided the cabinets in a most perfect white with some contrast in the Sietto cabinet knobs.
To the right, you’ll discover a Wolf 48” dual fuel range stovetop with griddle. Camouflaged to the left is a Subzero refrigerator and freezer drawers. The concealment of the usually bulky appliance was flawless.
Flooring, provided by Bruce hardwood, in this space is an oak wood in the color walnut. We just love the result of this transitional kitchen.
Our designers waged a full-fledged war on this remodel. The changes are quite unbelievable and awesome. We were able to breathe new life into the existing oak wood floor by refinishing them. Stainless steel appliances, like the 42” Subzero built-in refrigerator and the Zephyr vent hood, add to the contemporary elements of this transitional kitchen design.
Floating over the Wolf cooktop is a Zephyr trapeze island hood, which uses a sleek suspension structure to create the weightless illusion. Accent cabinets did another wonderful job on these cherry wood cabinets. We particularly love the satin glass detail to mask their small appliances. Complementing the richness of the cherry wood, the countertops boast beautiful black granite. To the very right of this photo sits a stainless steel built-in whole coffee bean system made by Miele.
We are all about designing your home around your lifestyle. Our homeowners are fairly tall and wanted the convenience of accessing their Thermador wine fridge at eye level – a simple custom request!
To lighten the space, we installed the backsplash using a small linear mosaic from Dal-Tile in between 3×6 frosted glass subway tiles from LaNova.
This contemporary kitchen was designed for a blended family of 7 girls with both parents being gourmet cooks. The kitchen design includes two cooking areas with an island custom designed to accommodate both cooks. The ultra contemporary island also serves as a sushi bar/ice drink holder for this family that loves to entertain. The floating glass shelf on the serving bar of the kitchen allows the owner to serve her family on one level and eat on the other. Stainless steel cabinet fronts add to the industrial look and feel.
This stainless steel, commercial sized sink continues to add to the feel and functionality of this contemporary kitchen design.
